Use the guiding questions at the bottom of the handout to help you think about the impact that the lack of equity and equality has on minorities and underrepresented populations in the world.
Open the Gender Inequality Index.
Open the Gender Development Index.
Working in your assigned country groups, first decide which ONE topic each student will research for that country.
Your task is to use data sources to examine the status of typical women in the assigned country. Each student will research one of four categories:
The United Nations Fund for Population Activities
The United Nations Development Programme
The Gender Inequality Index
The Gender Development Index

Each group will create a short [5 minutes or less] presentation on the status of women in their assigned country. The presentation may take any digital form you choose. See me if you need suggestions.
Please post the completed presentation on the Class Discussion Board using the country name as the title of the post. For homework, view two presentations other than your own and then complete the following assignment.
Complete Exit Ticket Comparing Minority Rights in Select Countries in the Hub. Use the following sentence stem:
